Monty is a very well known maker of quality Shakuhachi (and just a heck of a good guy)! I have had many flutes from Monty, and they were all exceptional!
  Mu-Jitsu Shakuhachi San Francisco based maker Ken LaCosse... traditional, hand-adjusted bore. I have owned a 1.9 and a 2.4 from Ken, and they were both very fine jinashi instruments. Excellent craftsmanship, beautiful tonality, great balance and highly responsive.
